Pranamya Shukla, Lucknow Teen — Turning Sound Into Soul, and Code Into Connection
New Delhi [India], November 4: 17-year-old innovator Pranamya Shukla, a.k.a. ‘Artemis,’ redefines creativity through technology and compassion.
Lucknow — a city known for its grace, culture, and poetry — is now witnessing a new rhythm of brilliance. At just 17, Pranamya Shukla, fondly known in the global music circuit as ‘Artemis,’ is reshaping how the world sees innovation — not as a contest of intellect, but as a symphony of heart, creativity, and purpose.
A Class 12 student, Pranamya embodies the rare blend of discipline and imagination. He cleared the UPSC NDA II written examination in his first attempt — an achievement that speaks volumes about his focus and determination. But his true journey lies beyond textbooks, at the crossroads of science, music, and human emotion.
He goes by the stage name Artemis, producing hip-hop and R&B music. He has amassed a large audience, with his streams surpassing 500,000, featuring over 30 collaborations and more than 50 individual tracks.
Driven by a desire to democratize music creation, Pranamya developed Mixr.ai, an AI-powered music tool that enables aspiring artists to produce studio-quality sound with minimal resources.
“For me, music is freedom,” he says. “Mixr.ai, ensures creativity isn’t limited by technology or access. Every artist deserves a chance to express themselves through sound.”
His innovation reflects a vision where music belongs to all—a movement that empowers creativity regardless of economic background.
Moved by the emotional needs of senior citizens, Pranamya created AUM, a mindfulness and wellness app designed especially for the elderly.
“Our elders often miss their golden days,” he reflects. “AUM helps them relive that peace through the calming tones of ancient Indian instruments.” The app beautifully merges neuroscience and traditional sound therapy, offering relaxation and nostalgia through soulful Indian melodies, a shining example of technology guided by empathy.
Fluent in tools like Ableton Live, FL Studio, BandLab, and Audacity, Pranamya’s original compositions have been featured on platforms like Rolling Stone, Premise, and Desi Renaissance, earning praise for their innovation and emotional depth.

Through his YouTube channel ‘Sound For All,’ he offers free lessons on STEM and music production, helping young learners worldwide. His thoughtful essays on Medium and LinkedIn further explore how art, science, and youth can drive social change.
Despite his achievements, Pranamya remains deeply grounded. He volunteers regularly at Old Age Homes and Orphanages, teaching children, supporting elders, and promoting mindfulness through music and compassion.
“Science and music are meaningful only when they bring peace and joy into someone’s life,” he says—a belief reflected in every project he undertakes.
A school topper, polyglot, and Olympiad participant, Pranamya has represented his school in prestigious competitions like the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, Spell Bee, and various national essay contests. He also founded his school’s Music and Mathematics Clubs, whose student band now performs at major city events. Recently, he was honored as the ‘Best Delegate’ at IIMUN 2025, showcasing his leadership and communication excellence.
Though he has lived in many cities, Pranamya’s heart remains in Lucknow. He is son of an Army Officer.
“Wherever I go, the rhythm of Lucknow follows me—the patience of its people, the poetry of its culture, and the humility of its art define who I am,” he shares with pride.
In a world racing toward automation, Pranamya Shukla stands as a reminder that true innovation breathes humanity. With the intellect of a scientist and the soul of a musician, he symbolizes a generation that believes creativity must have purpose and technology must have heart.
