New Delhi [India], November 25: <\/strong>Senior and renowned litterateur, educationist and lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi, decorated with the honorary degree of Vidya Vachaspati Doctorate of Aligarh, was honoured with the national award \u201cBharat Vibhushan-2024\u201d by the hands of Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Hon\u2019ble Ram Niwas Goyal in the Chief Minister\u2019s Auditorium of Delhi Legislative Assembly, New Delhi. In which the Legislative Assembly Speaker honoured lyricist Dr. Rahi by presenting him with a medal, \u201cBharat Vibhushan Memorial\u201d and a shawl along with a copper plate.<\/p>\n

Under the aegis of the Institute of Social Reform and Higher Education Charitable Trust, this national honour has been given to lyricist Dr Avnish Rahi for his literary excellence in promoting national values and heritage at national and international levels. The entire India, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Bihar, was represented in the programme.<\/p>\n

Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal, who was present as the chief guest on this occasion, said that literature is not only a mirror of society, but it is also a lamp which draws the attention of society towards its evils and presents the form of an ideal society. In this context, the literature of lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi is \u201cSamaj ki Dharohar\u201d, which works to connect man to man by attacking the evils and bad habits prevalent in society.<\/p>\n

While receiving the national award \u201cBharat Vibhushan-2024\u201d, lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi, who is a lecturer at Hiralal Barhasaini College Aligarh, said that this honor is not mine but of the entire literary society, of every small and big writer. By receiving this honor, my responsibility towards literature and society has increased even more.<\/p>\n

Lyricist Rahi has dedicated this honor to his literary guru Padma Bhushan, Dr. Gopaldas Neeraj, and his first-pen father, revered great poet Amar Singh Rahi.<\/p>\n

While Aligarh residents are happy on Aligarh receiving this honor, there is a queue of people congratulating lyricist Dr. Rahi.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi has composed hundreds of songs so far. Many music albums, cassettes, CDs, and DVDs of the songs written by you have been released by the country\u2019s renowned companies like T-Series, Venus, Tips, Lara, etc. Not only this, but today, the songs written by you have been sung by Bollywood playback singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal, Anup Jalota, Sadhna Sargam, Ravindra Jain, Shahid Mallya, Tripti Shakya, Shabab Sabri. Today, you are also writing songs for many big-screen Hindi feature films in Mumbai, among which Mission Over, Pyar Toh Hameesh Rahega and Rashtramata Savitribai Phule are notable.<\/p>\n
