Themed \u201cResilient India: Inclusive, Sustainable, and Future-Ready,\u201d the convention is being positioned as India\u2019s most influential policy-driven real estate platform.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmedabad\u2019s success with smart city projects, ring road infrastructure, and affordable housing models has made it a beacon for mid-sized cities eyeing sustainable urbanisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shri Suresh D Patel, Hon. Secretary, NAREDCO and President, NAREDCO Gujarat,<\/strong>\u00a0remarked:\u00a0<em>\u201cGujarat has long been at the forefront of infrastructure-led growth. From industrial parks to sustainable housing, we have built models worth scaling. The upcoming convention will allow us to collaborate on policy reforms that remove bottlenecks in affordable housing, increase private capital inflow and reforms in tax burdens.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Key convention topics\u2014such as green materials, RERA reforms, and integrated urban mobility\u2014will hold special relevance for Gujarat\u2019s cities navigating their next growth chapter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr<\/strong><strong>Niranjan Hiranandani<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Chairman, NAREDCO<\/strong>, remarked,<em>\u201cUrban planning is now central to India\u2019s economic strategy.\u00a0<\/em><em>With construction accounting for a large portion of carbon emissions, the real estate sector must move from conventional approaches to smart, sustainable models. This means adopting green materials, planning for energy efficiency, and integrating smart infrastructure. India\u2019s urban centers have the potential to lead this transition, and Delhi, with its strategic significance, must lead by example. The convention\u2019s official logo was unveiled on 1<sup>st<\/sup> August, 2025,<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">\u00a0by<strong> Delhi<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0Chief Minister Smt.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Rekha Guptaa<\/strong> at the curtain raiser in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>At the core of the two-day event are some of the most pressing issues shaping the real estate and infrastructure sectors.\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">These include the<strong>\u00a0evolution of RERA\u00a0<\/strong>and associated policy reforms to improve compliance transparency, grievance redressal, and developer credibility.<\/span>\u00a0<strong>Affordable housing and urban development<\/strong>\u2014especially rental housing models, credit-linked subsidies, and PPP frameworks\u2014will receive focused attention, aligning with India\u2019s long-standing housing-for-all mandate.<\/p>\n<p>Capital formation and finance are also expected to dominate the discourse.
